Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside his or her trade, business or profession:
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have/has taken possession of the last item of goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Tim Kohl, Safe-Shield, Butenring 6, 25479 Ellerau, Germany, Tel.: +49 (0)173 685 19 28, e-mail: info@safe-shield.eu) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, which is, however, not mandatory.
You can also exercise your right of cancellation online on our website at https://safe-shield.eu/pages/widerruf. If you use this online function, you will immediately receive an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail), including information on the content of your cancellation as well as the date and time it was received.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
If you cancel this contract, we must reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of cancellation of this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. For goods which, due to their nature, cannot be returned to us by normal post (freight forwarding goods), the direct costs of return are estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 80 per such item.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods which is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functioning.
The right of cancellation expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the supply of goods if, after delivery, these have been inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature.
The right of cancellation does not apply to consumers who, at the time of conclusion of the contract, are not nationals of a member state of the European Union and whose sole place of residence and delivery address at the time of conclusion of the contract are outside the European Union.
Unless otherwise agreed, there is no right of cancellation for contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the provision of such services. Accordingly, a right of cancellation is also excluded for contracts which relate to the sale of tickets for scheduled leisure events.
1) Please avoid damage to and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use a protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect (postage unpaid).
3) Please note that the above points 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
