Consumption: approx. 25–35 ml for a Golf-sized car.
One accessory kit is added per bottle.
Suitable for vehicle paint, compatible plastics, glass and powder-coated surfaces. Always test material compatibility and the desired finish in an inconspicuous area.
On matt surfaces, a gloss-enhancing sealant may alter the appearance. Glass-Coat is the specialist solution for exterior vehicle glass.
Work at 10–25 °C on cool surfaces, never in direct sunlight or on warm paint. Clean thoroughly; for the best possible adhesion, also degrease, for example with Ultra Degreaser.
Apply a small amount of Soft-Coat thinly to manageable sections, allow a short flash-off time and buff off completely with a clean, soft microfibre towel. If an overly warm surface causes streaking, immediately remove the product with a suitable cleaner or Ultra Degreaser. Allow the surface to cool before reapplying.
After application, protect the vehicle from heavier rain for about 1 hour. Follow the label and safety instructions.
View application steps →Do I need to polish the paint first?
No. Thorough cleaning is the starting point; also degrease for the best possible adhesion. Polish beforehand only if there are paint defects to address or you want to enhance the gloss.
How long does Soft-Coat last?
Up to 6 months. Preparation, use, weather and maintenance affect the actual durability.
Is Soft-Coat a ceramic coating or a nano sealant?
Soft-Coat is a polymer sealant. “Nano sealant” is used for different surface treatments and, by itself, does not specify the protection or durability. The relevant product properties and correct application are what matter.
Can I apply a second layer?
An additional layer is possible. Apply it thinly and buff off completely. More product does not automatically mean longer durability.
How do I maintain Soft-Coat and when should I reapply it?
Regular washing and stronger wash chemicals can reduce durability. If water beading and gloss noticeably decline, thoroughly clean and assess the surface first. If protection has weakened, reapply Soft-Coat to clean, cool paint.

Soft-Coat · Paint protection applied by hand
Soft-Coat combines gloss and slickness with a water-repellent surface, making regular car care easier. Apply thinly, allow a short flash-off time and buff off: hand application suits both careful enthusiasts and professional detailers’ workflows.
The right paint protection
After a light polish or a one-step paint enhancement, Soft-Coat provides the finishing paint protection. Ideal when your customer wants a well-maintained finish and a straightforward sealant without commissioning a ceramic coating. It can also be applied without prior polishing to appropriately cleaned paint.
Clean thoroughly and degrease for the best possible adhesion. Machine polishing is not necessary when the paint is in good condition. Read more: Degreasing paint before applying a sealant.
Soft-Coat is the standalone polymer option for gloss, slickness and easy-maintenance paint protection. Final PRO is available for a longer-lasting ceramic coating. Our comparison of wax, polymer sealants and ceramic coatings explains the differences.
Application
Work at 10–25 °C on cool surfaces. Avoid direct sunlight and warm paint. Ensure good ventilation and wear the protective equipment specified in the safety data sheet.
Clean the surface thoroughly. Also degrease for the best possible adhesion. Continue only on suitable, clean surfaces.
Place a small amount of Soft-Coat on the applicator and spread thinly over a manageable section. Allow a short flash-off time.
Buff off completely with a clean, soft microfibre towel. Check the surface under good lighting, then move on to the next section.
After application, protect from heavier rain for about 1 hour. Soft-Coat provides polymer protection that can be reapplied. Regular washing and stronger wash chemicals can reduce durability; if water beading and gloss noticeably decline, assess the cleaned surface and reapply as needed.
