QUICK ANSWERS

Polishing pad questions answered

Which pad suits each step?

Max Cut is the starting point for stronger correction, Medium/One Step for correction and gloss in one pass, and Perfect Finish for fine polishing marks. Use the selection above to find suitable pads.

When do I need a specialist pad?

When a test spot shows the standard combination is not right. Ultra Cut provides stronger foam cutting, while Ultra Soft offers a gentler finishing option. Microfibre and wool are additional cutting tools for suitable machines.

How do I choose a size?

Select the appropriate variant on the product page. Check the hook-and-loop diameter, pad face and machine manufacturer's guidance. The backing plate must not extend unprotected beyond the contact face.

Can I combine pads and polishes freely?

Our system recommendations provide a starting point. Other combinations may work but must be checked on a test spot. Clean pads during use, monitor temperature and change them in good time.
