Pulimento One-Step / Medio

The following steps are a practical starting point. Adapt your technique and machine settings to the paint, pad and defects.

1. Prepare: Thoroughly wash and dry the vehicle. Work on clean, cool paint in the shade.
2. Apply: Apply a small amount of Black-One to a clean Medium Pad and spread it evenly over the working area.
3. Polish: Work small, manageable sections evenly with a dual-action or rotary polisher. Keep heat build-up to a minimum.
4. Wipe off and inspect: Remove residue with a soft microfibre towel and inspect the finish under suitable lighting.

Before applying protection: Fully degrease the paint. Do not use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.

Which defects is Black-One suitable for?

Light to moderate paint defects such as wash scratches, swirls, light dullness and fine wear marks. Results depend on factors including paint hardness, pad and machine.

Can I use other polishing pads?

Yes. The Medium Pad is the matched standard combination. Other pad combinations may be useful depending on the paint, defects and machine.

Why is residue difficult to wipe off?

The surface or pad may have become too warm. Reduce machine speed and working time, work smaller areas and use a fresh pad if necessary.

How do I clean the pad while working?

Regularly blow out or brush away excess residue. After use, clean thoroughly with lukewarm water and pH-neutral soap, then allow to dry completely.

What should I do with heavier defects?

If correction is insufficient, switch to the two-step system of Max Cut and Perfect Finish. Check the result on a small test section first.
