With the correct use of your car wash bucket with grit guard and lid, you’ll achieve optimal results when washing your car and effectively protect the paintwork.
Place the car wash bucket on a stable surface and fill it with water and a suitable car shampoo.
Insert the grit guard so that dirt particles stay at the bottom and your wash mitt is always rinsed in clean water.
Wash the vehicle from top to bottom. Rinse the wash mitt regularly in the bucket and wipe it across the grit guard. This allows dirt to sink to the bottom and reduces the risk of scratches in the paint.
Rinse after every use: Thoroughly rinse bucket and grit guard with clean water.
Clean lid & rubber lip: Regularly clean with warm water to ensure the seal remains tight over time.
Let it dry: Allow to dry completely before storing to avoid odors or mold.
Store correctly: Keep in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
✅ We recommend it – especially for sensitive or dark paintwork.
The grit guard ensures that sand and dirt particles stay at the bottom.
This way your wash mitt is rinsed with clean water and the risk of micro-scratches & swirls is significantly reduced.
✅ Yes – the screw lid with integrated rubber lip ensures a secure seal.
Ideal for mobile detailers or when the bucket is transported in the trunk.
💡 Still, always transport upright and close it properly.
