When washed paint still feels rough

Use clay for contours, the Clay Sponge by hand or the Clay Disk on suitable larger areas with a dual-action polisher. Use mechanical decontamination selectively before planned polishing.

Do I need lubrication?

Yes. Keep the surface adequately lubricated and follow the product instructions. Never work dry or with excessive pressure.

Can claying leave marks?

Yes, particularly on sensitive paint. Test first and allow for polishing afterwards. Do not reuse traditional clay after dropping it on the ground.

You use cleaning clay & clay pads to remove stubborn dirt such as rust, tar stains, insect residue, etc. from the paint. The process smoothes your paint and should be carried out especially before polishing work.
