Which side should I use to remove polish residue?

The long-pile side is your first choice for polish removal. Its exceptionally soft, long fibres gently lift polish residue. Work with light pressure and switch regularly to a fresh section. Use a clean long-pile side for the final wipe too, so you do not spread collected residue back over the paintwork.

The short-pile side handles the finer follow-up tasks: for example, degreasing after polishing or removing wax. Use a separate, clean cloth and follow the product's application instructions.

Is the cloth suitable for delicate paintwork?

Yes. The ultra-soft long pile and edgeless design are an excellent combination for delicate paintwork. Remove polish residue with gentle contact and no sewn-on hem dragging across the surface. Gentle removal remains the priority, even after a fine finishing polish.

A finish free from new micro-scratches also depends on clean fibres and light pressure: check for particles before every use and replace saturated cloths. On particularly delicate paintwork, test an inconspicuous area first.

40 × 40 cm · 400 GSM · 1, 4 or 12 pieces. Folded twice, each cloth provides eight wiping surfaces. For coating removal, see our 300 GSM Coating Cloth.

How do I keep the microfibre soft and absorbent?

Wash at up to 40 °C without fabric softener. Wash before first use. Separate used cloths by task and level of contamination, then leave to air dry and store dry.

Check for particles and hardened residue before every use. Clean thoroughly after contact with the ground. Do not reuse cloths containing cured coating residue on paintwork.

Professional microfibre for polish removal

Remove the polish residue. Preserve the gloss.

Freshly polished, then fine marks appear as you wipe? This is where the right polishing cloth makes the difference. Our 400 GSM cloth combines exceptionally soft long pile with an edgeless finish for gentle polish residue removal, even on delicate paintwork.

Lift the polish instead of spreading streaks. Absorbent long fibres collect residue from the surface. Light pressure and frequent changes to a fresh section help you achieve a clear, streak-free finish and reveal the result of your polishing.

Short pile for the next steps. Use the short-pile side of a separate, clean cloth for degreasing after polishing or removing wax. A thoughtfully designed professional 400 GSM polishing cloth that stays soft with correct care and supports repeated detailing work.

Use the long pile. Remove residue. Inspect the finish.

  1. Prepare clean cloths

Check for particles, fold twice and keep the long-pile side facing out. Set aside separate cloths for polish removal and degreasing.

  2. Remove polish gently

Lift polish residue with the soft long-pile side and light pressure. Switch to a fresh section before residue starts to smear.

  3. Inspect the finish

Finish with clean long pile and inspect the paintwork under light. For subsequent degreasing, use the short-pile side of a separate cloth.

Only work with clean, soft microfibre. Do not use extra pressure to scrub away stubborn residue.
