It is suitable when iron fallout particles, tar spots or insect residue remain after washing on gloss paintwork, glass or suitable smooth plastic surfaces. It is particularly useful for intensive cleaning of stubborn deposits on glass.

A rinse-clean alternative to a clay bar

The fixed polymer face does not need to be kneaded. It can be rinsed during use and reused while clean and undamaged. Mouldable clay is more flexible around tight contours; the Clay-Disk is intended for machine use with a dual-action polisher.

Paintwork preparation and material limits

On gloss paintwork, only use before planned polishing: claying can leave fine marring. Do not use on matt paintwork or textured plastics. Test material compatibility in an inconspicuous area first. The treatment removes bonded residue, not scratches.

Application with sufficient lubricant

Work only on thoroughly cleaned, cool surfaces. Wet the surface and polymer side with Clay Lube or a suitable dilute mixture of Wash & Foam and water. Use short strokes and light pressure, maintain lubrication and rinse frequently. Stop immediately if sand or trapped particles are present. Follow the care instructions for coated glass surfaces.

Care and what is included

One Clay Sponge for manual use; lubricant is available separately. After use, rinse with clean water and leave to dry in an airy place. Do not wring out or machine wash. If damaged, contaminated with trapped dirt or dropped on the ground, do not continue using it on paintwork.
